I can't believe it's already December! The past few weeks as I've been frantically filling planner orders, the time has flown by around me. I still need to pull down my spooky decor and get my tree up! I am also close to finishing my Grinch-themed quilted tree skirt and matching advent calendar (though I better get a move on it now that it's already 5 days in to December...). The kids are excited about getting lights put up on the house (might not happen this year, sorry kids), planning which gifts to make or buy (I'm using my handy free printables to help me), and we're making plans for holiday parties and caroling music nights. It's going to be a busy month!

2025 planners are still shipping!

Thank you to everyone that has placed an order so far this season. Many of you have gotten your planners and shared some photos in our Facebook group (thank you!), many more are in transit and more are on their way. We still have about half of the orders placed so far to still go out, but we are making great progress every day and expect to be caught up very soon.

I've got a team of four of my friends helping me each day to get the books spiral bound, covers in place, and shipped out the door. All four of them are also quilters, and they know how much it means to get them to you as quickly as possible.

A reminder: as soon as your order is in the mail, you'll receive an email confirming the shipment, and a tracking number for your planner.

Coil care tips

When my team and I are coil-binding the planners and design books, I cut the coil length generously, leaving at least one-half of an extra circle of coil, plus a soft fold to finish each end. I do this on purpose so that you have enough length to change how your coil is secured, depending on your preference. There are a lot of different ways to secure your coil, so much so that our founder, Stephanie Palmer, wrote a blog post and made a video all about it. Check it out for more ideas!

Are you also feeling the holiday spirit as you look forward to this month and into 2025? Regardless of how or what you celebrate, I hope you can make time to create and make and play. It's important to fit creative time into our schedule, even (and especially) if it's a busy time of year. Just 5 minutes can make a big difference to your mood and mind.
