Here's how you can customize your 2027 Quilter's Planner

Hi there quilty friends!

We launched the pre-sales for the 2027 Quilter's Planner last week (a big thanks to everyone that has ordered so far!) and I wanted to share more details about how you can customize your planner so that it truly meets your needs and style. After all, you’re going to be using it every single day to plan your life and your quilting!

Here are the top 5 ways you can customize the planner to make it really work for you.

1. 28 covers to choose from in 4 different formats

This year we’re able to offer you a choice of 28 cover designs in a variety of book types. We added 6 new designs this year, and kept the most popular designs from last year.

For the book format, will you pick the popular coil-bound planner format, the 3-ring binder option, or the hardcover book? We also have a looseleaf format and can leave the pages unpunched (perfect for disc-bound systems) or punch them to fit our custom 3-ring binder or your own binder from home. Whatever your preference and style, there’s a planner format and cover design for you.

2. Horizontal, vertical, and dot calendar pages

The calendar pages are what you’ll be using every day and we wanted to offer you a choice so that you can get the most out of your planner and make it work for you. Choose the vertical if you want more structure to your week, as it includes hour slots, goal and gratitude prompts, as well as a habit tracker and multiple to-do lists. The classic horizontal design has less structure but still plenty of space to plan your week.

Or why not go for the dot grid option? This design is great for bullet journalling, giving you more flexibility to add notes, drawings, diagrams and lay out your weekly pages in a fun way. Some people start their week on a Sunday, some people start their week on a Monday. So we decided to cater for both! With your calendar pages starting on the day you prefer, you can get your week off to a great start, which will make you feel organized and ready to tackle each day head on.

4. Choose your clip-in bookmarks and clip-ins

Are you a list person? We love lists! You can’t beat the satisfaction of ticking off things from the ‘to do’ list, whether it be finishing WIPs, keeping track of your habits with the habit tracker, grocery shopping or powering through all errands you need to do at home. So why not purchase some of our clip-in bookmarks to help you get things done! We have options to work with each of the book formats, too.

You can also purchase our Add-A-Page Clip-ins, so that you can clip in your favorite patterns, designs, or additional graph paper. You can find a whole selection of FREE downloadable graph papers and other free printables on our website.

5. Make a planner cover – FREE patterns on the website!

We know how much you love to sew and quilt, so why not make a customized quilted cover for your planner? We have two free patterns on the website: the Zippy Planner Cover and the Quilted Planner Cover, which is shown here, plus additional panel designs for further customization. Simply download the PDF, choose your very favorite fabrics and start stitching! The best thing about it is you will get to admire and use it all year long.

Timing for delivery

I know this is the biggest question on everyone's mind — when will I get my planner? The good news is that the first printing of dividers is now at the binder to have the tabs laminated and cut. That can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks. As soon as we get those back from the binder, we'll start shipping out orders — aiming to send orders by Halloween, but hopefully sooner.
